A half day's workshop (starting at 10am, finishing at approximately 1pm) in our gorgeous 14th century listed studio located in Burford, the gateway to the Cotswolds. Free parking is located just a short walk from the shop.
During the morning, you will learn how to block print effectively on fabric and paper in your chosen designs and colours.
All materials and equipment are supplied along with a cake and a hot drink.
To ensure quality teaching, the class size will be kept to a maximum of 8 people.
The workshop will be suitable for all abilities, there will be time to practice different techniques and build your confidence before moving onto your items.
The workshop is none refundable 14 days prior to your workshop date, unless we can re-sell your space
The workshop can only run if there is a minimum of 4 students so if the if numbers do not reach this level we will ask you to change dates to the next available date that suits you.

What will I make?
You will be able to make 1 organic fabric item or 2 organic cotton / cotton baby items from the following options:
- Tote Bag
- Tea Towel
- Medium Drawstring Bag
- Baby Hat
- Baby Bib
- Baby Muslin
- Baby Bodysuit
If you have an idea in your mind of something you would like to make, please talk to Holly on the day.
Additional blank items will be available to purchase on the day should you wish to print more.
What blocks will there be available to print with on the day?
There will be a section of nature related blocks Holly has designed such as bees, butterflies and wildflowers. There will also be some Indian style blocks Holly has collected on her travels in India, as well as some Christmas blocks when it’s towards that time of year.
Will I be able to take my pieces home on the day?
Yes, all of your printed items plus all your practice fabrics. Everything that is dry will be heat set by Holly so it is permanent and washable up to 40 degrees. Holly will provide full instructions on how to heat set at home should that be necessary.
What should I wear?
It is a relaxed day, so wear comfortable clothing and something you don’t mind getting paint on, as it can stain. Aprons will be supplied on the day.
